Wonders of Photoshop's Photomerge
I have been digitizing some newspaper clippings by scanning them when Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended’s Photomerge feature became userful again. I have a Canon Lide scanner and since it can only accomodate legal sized papers, I need to do multiple scans. Tedious process it was, to merge all the images if you have to do it manually.
You can do the same in other photos. The technique is to cover all the possible angles once you are standing in one position. Photomerge will make photos appear as if they were taken using a wide angle lens.
