Why shoot the messenger?
People apparently took offense when I said in the previous post that I was satisfied with Smart Bro. One even said that I was “in the wrong place.” Another one even cursed me, to quote:
Ikaw ba di ka magrereklamo kung harapan ka na nilang ginagago, tinatarantado at niloloko? kung hahayaan mo lang na gawin sayo eto, napaka tanga mo, nabuhay ka pa! kaya nga my nagrereklamo kc ayaw nila sa ganung serbisyo ng ISP nila eh. kung di ka makatulong sa mga apektado ng bulok na serbisyo ng SB eh wag ka ng mag comment!
T*%#@%#$*o!
Why would I be in the wrong place, when all I did was to create a link to the article? I did not even made the comment in the website, so I cannot be accused of being in the wrong place.
I just pity the guy/girl who cursed me. I just think that I am more civilized than s/he is. I take calls five days a week so I understand his frustration. I just hope that he stick to the issue and not go ad hominem.
Since I work in a call center, I’m probably one of those irate customers. I had my share of bad experiences with Smart Bro. I even had two posts about it, one about their marketing strategy and the other about not being able to connect for almost a month. What makes me perhaps different from them is I take actions whenever I complain about something. A problem could not be solved by just joining online forums. I personally write letters, stamped, delivered to the post office and pay. I talk to customer service. I pester them. And by the way, I also produce the newspaper for our municipality. So I have an edge when it comes to contacting the right person.
If you are not satisfied with a company’s service, go out. Resign. Quit.
My battle now is actually not against Smart, but Digitel.
By the way, I made another Speedtest. Though not that reliable, it is still worth taking note off.
