Nightshift:call center agent’s blog

This is my very first for this year, and for me, this is monumental. I am blogging not through a PC but through the iBook we just received today. It was from my brother who is currently in Canada, but I think this was purchased in New Zealand. I am still trying to learn how to use it but from what I experienced so far, in the last three hours, it’s fairly easy to navigate compared to Windows Vista. It got a nice keyboard too.

Last Thursday, after trying to figure out what cable should be connected to the ports, I was able to finally boot up the computer. The only problem was the defective DVD writer. I used the old CD RW to install Windows XP and so far, everything is working fine except for the noisy CPU fan. Most of the components of the new PC are new - motherboard, two hard drives, DVD RW, speaker, plus a scanner. I’ll post the details later.

The ultimate cause why I wasn’t able to blog for more than a month is the problem I had in the domain renewal. But that’s for another post.

Currently, I am enjoying the night watching as many TV shows that I can. I took a five-day leave because of, first, it was the fiesta in Tanay, where I am making a project, and second, it will be our town fiesta on tomorrow. I was just lucky that the leave was sandwiched between my restdays so I had a total nine-day vacation.

That’s it for now, in 30 minutes time, I have to hit the sack. My room is still messy as I rummaged through some newspapers for disposal.
