Fan issues resolved
I have resolved three issues today, which, incidentally, have something to do with fans.
Yes, fans. As in that circular thing that provides air.
First was an ancient IBM Thinkpad X40 which generates a “fan error” upon boot up, and will shutdown five seconds after showing the message. I already took off two screws from the back panel of the laptop when I thought of using the camera blower. I held the laptop sidewards, with the vent pointing downwards and blew some air on it.
I boot back up the laptop but I got the same error. I took the battery out, and blew air again. Alas, the Thinkpad boot to Windows again.
Second was my main computer where the exhaust fan near the back panel would not turn. I have to reseat the power connection.
Last was my car aircon. My niece touched something while I wasn’t look that let for the two dashboard fans not to produce air. I have to press the buttons, which I don’t honestly know what their purposes are.
