Spirit of giving this Christmas

Has this ever happened to you? You are in a jeepney and all you are praying is not to be late for work that day. All of a sudden, a child beggar, about 9 years old, with his dirty clothing and no footwear, approaches you and hands over an envelope asking for money. You could see the innocence in his eyes. Do we still need the Sangguniang Kabataan?

After I voted this morning at 7:37 a.m., (voter number 12 at Precinct Number 1, Number 56 in list) for the Barangay elections, I took pictures of the event and Edward saw me and asked about Baras Balita. I told him that it would be better perhaps if we will release the newspaper on December. I posed him the question, do we still really need the SK? Read the rest of this entry »
